ITINERARY

DAY 1: NAIROBI -MOMBASA

At 0630 hours you will eat breakfast, check out and then embark on trip 484km to the beaches in Mombasa. You can choose to spend your time relaxing at the  Beach Resort or enjoying the beaches.

DAY 2 : MOMBASA

The southern coastline of Mombasa is a tropical paradise of palm fringed, white sand beaches where the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean meet beautiful coral reefs. The protective reefs have created ideal beaches with calm, inviting waters. Days here are filled with sunshine while nights are balmy, warm and buffered by gentle sea breezes. The offshore reefs are alive with coral, fish, sea turtles and dolphins. Both outer and inner reef walls offer world class diving with spectacular coral gardens and drop offs. Optional trips can be planned to Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park, Wasini Island or Shimba Hills. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the  Beach Resort.

DAY 6: MOMBASA TO MALINDI

After breakfast at accommodation pick up at 0930hrs and drive north to Malindi.After lunch you spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring this wonderful destination. Dinner and overnight stay at accommodation.

DAY 7: MALINDI

Malindi is one of the beach attractions found along the Coastline of Kenya, with its serene white sandy beach and Blue Ocean water. It is habitat to Oceanic Marine life found at the Malindi Marine National park and fosters a variety of wildlife Game at Watamu National Park and Malindi National Park and Reserve. Other attractions including Watamu Marine National Reserve, Crocodile Paradise. After breakfast at accommodation you spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring the attractions.

 

DAY 8: MALINDI – KILIFI

Pick up at 0900hrs and drive to Kilifi. East of Malindi is Kilifi there you visit the Mnanari ruins, which is renowned for its archaeological and historic designs. Early lunch you spend the rest of the day exploring the ruins.

DAY 9: KILIFI TO LAMU

After an early morning breakfast, drive to Lamu arriving early afternoon. Upon arrival you transfer to a local restaurant for lunch. The South Eastern coastline of Kenya is a tropical paradise of palm fringed, white sand beaches where the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean meet beautiful coral reefs. The protective reefs have created ideal beaches with calm, inviting waters. Days here are filled with sunshine while nights are balmy, warm and buffered by gentle sea breezes. It has been renowned as a Cultural Heritage Site. For the existing local Communities who have preserved their culture and traditions from their mouth-watering cuisines to their mode of transport via Donkey riding. Both outer and inner reef walls offer world class diving with spectacular coral gardens and drop offs. Optional trips can be planned to Manda islands, Pate Island or Kimaiyu Island. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the accommodation.

 

DAY 10:  LAMU ISLAND

 

A scheduled flight takes you to Manda Island tour, where a dhow transfer takes you across the waterway to Lamu Island. It has a captivating natural beauty of untouched beaches with crystal-like Indian Ocean waters. The afternoon is at leisure. Overnight stay at the New Lamu Palace Hotel.

 

DAY 11:  LAMU ISLAND

 

A full day at leisure to explore the island. Little has changed in Lamu in the last century. Be sure to stop at one of Lamu’s 20 mosques to admire the ornate and intricate woodwork. Good shopping includes local baskets and mats.

DAY 12: LAMU/ DEPARTURE

Check out after breakfast and then a dhow transfer takes you to Manda Island for the return
flight the airport in time to connect with your international flight home.
