ITENARY
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
On arrival at the Kigali airport, meet our experienced guide. As you are transferred to your hotel, the guide will give you an insight on the wonderful adventures ahead.
Overnight at Kigali Serena
Day 2: Kigali City Tour and Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, you will have a city tour which will include a visit Genocide Memorial Centre famous for international attention of the Rwandan genocide back in 1994. Afterwards, depart for Volcanoes National Park via Ruhengeri which will take approximately two hours. On arrival, lunch will be served in the main lodge, with its scenic vistas of the Virunga Volcanoes, of the Parc National des Volcans.
Overnight at Gorilla Mountain View Lodge.
Day 3: Gorilla Tracking at Volcanoes National Park
Today you will set off early after breakfast for the park headquarters where we will get permit for the gorilla trekking. Once assigned in groups have a briefing from your driver guide you will be driven to the trailhead where you will start the walk. Your trek will take about an hour to five hours to reach the gorillas depending on which group you`ve been assigned.
The terrain changes as we go deeper from farmland to bamboo forests, into stinging nettles and rainforest before you find the gorillas. Trackers leave before the tourist groups to locate the gorilla groups, and once you`ve found the group you will have one hour with them. Make sure you take plenty of extra film. Drive back to the lodge for overnight.

DAY 4: DEPARTURE
After breakfast, drive back to Kigali town. Perhaps have some time for last minute shopping before continuing to the airport for your onward flight
